The Story Hub:

Local & Spoken Online

The first Saturday of each month we will be hosting THE STORY HUB

An online space for creative writers, poets and storytellers to gather and share. We will meet on zoom, joining our separate living rooms into one large circle via the magic of the internet.

This event is emceed by poet Pip Sheehan and Wild Learning on honoured to host it. Attendees will have the opportunity to read a poem, story or musing - or you can simply curl up with a cuppa at home, log on and enjoy hear local writers share their words.

The Story Hub will give voice to what is being written by Cessnock creatives and deserves to be heard, sharing the stories that that bridge the distances between us in this unusual season.

We warmly welcome members of the Live at the Crossing family, Cessnock Writers nest and Cessnock Creatives - as well as anyone who enjoys reading and appreciating the magic of spoken word.

This is a free community event to support both creativity and connection during this time.

Wild Learning is owned and operated by Emmie Hallett. My abn is: 13 236 405 231

Wild Learning acknowledges the Wonnarua people as the traditional custodians of the land we gather on.  We give our respect to Elders and Children, past present and future.   We also acknowledge the Awabakal people to the east and the Darkinjung people to the south, and all other Aboriginal peoples who now live within our community.

Wild Learning is a space of kindness and respect. We warmly welcome people with disability, the LGBTIAQ community, people from all lands, religions and cultures and people with all sorts of life stories. When you attend our activities we ask that you treat all members of our Wild Learning community, our building, facilities and our neighbours with kindness, respect and help us create a space that is safe for everyone.
