Abut Sewing with Suzanne:

Sewing & Dress making classes at Wild Learning are a fun way to build your skills and confidence using a sewing machine to make small projects - or your own clothes!

Class list:

SATURDAYS 9:30 - 11:30 am -  Dress making For Beginners
A beginners group for adults and young people wanting to learn to sew their own hand made clothing!

You will need to bring fabric and your choice of pattern (a commercial pattern or a print your own pattern from the internet is fine so long as it is the correct size)  - or choose a pattern from Suzanne's collection.

$35 per lesson or purchase a discounted multi class pass from Suzanne 

every second FRIDAY 12:00 - 2:30 pm -   SEWING SCHOOL
Each fortnight Suzanne teaches a step by step class to make your own small project from scratch! From stuffed toys to eco-friendly kitchen cloths,  zippered purses to place mats. Materials and patterns are provided - please bring your machine or contact us if you'd like to borrow one during the class. 


Suitable for beginners and intermediate sewers
$50 per lesson or purchase a discounted multi class pass from Suzanne 

Coming in term four:

THURSDAYS  7:15 - 9:15 pm -  Dress making For Beginners
Evening sewing classes!  bring your machine,  fabric and your choice of pattern and learn to make your own clothes - with expert tuition and all the help you need to make clothes you will love to wear!!

$35 per lesson or purchase a discounted multi class pass from Suzanne 



You will need to bring with you to each class:


  • Your sewing machine with bobbin - and the foot pedal and power cord. 

  • Neutral colour thread (or to match your fabric choice)

  • Fabric scissors + Pins +Tape measure

  • Note book + pen

If you don't have a sewing machine contact us to arrange for a borrow machine to be available during your class.

Sewing School: Enrolment Enquiry Form

When you arrive for a class at Wild Learning:

  • Parking is available behind the building off Campbell st, or there is street parking available nearby.

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to your first class to complete a registration form and discuss any needs with Suzanne. 

  • Please sign in to the building at the welcome desk when you arrive. You can then see Suzanne to pay for your class or have your class pass updated.
