A day time weekly jewellery making class using silver, copper and tin - with Teaching Artist Kes Harper
Learn the basic skills needed to make your own jewellery!
Using copper and silver, master the art of hammering, sawing, filing and drilling to complete a pendant, bangle and earrings.
Suitable for beginners 18yrs +
13th February – Create a heart pendant/necklace for yourself or to give as a Valentine's gift!
20th February – Make a twisted copper bangle
27th February – Learn how to make earring hooks and other wire work
6th March – Finish with a flourish! Design and make simple silver earrings
Your class fee includes a materials kit which includes the silver and copper you will be working with during class.
Please wear closed in shoes and bring an apron.
This course involves using a power tool (cordless drill) and handling sharp metal, so you must have good fine motor skills, be willing to work safely and follow instructions given by Kes, your Teaching Artist.

Who is for: People over 18 years old | suitable for complete beginners | must be able to work safely with basic tools and follow instructions
Day and time: Wednesday 12 midday to 3 pm. This is a three hour class

a Four Class Pass is $225 or $205 concession and includes all materials.
Need to bring: You must wear closed in shoes (shoes that cover your toes) please also bring an apron to protect your clothing
Kes is an artist, jewellery maker, gleaner and teacher with a love of using reclaimed and recycled materials.
