Silhouette Art with Michele Heibel
Time & Location
About the Event
Be part of a Silhouette Art Class- and contribute to a group display piece in our new space!
Michele is a multi, multi, multi award winning artist - and her silhouette work is instantly recognisable for its charming, evocative stories and meticulous detail.
During this class you will learn to create a silhouette artwork inspired by a eucalyptus forest using black water colour paint to create a background and then hand cutting shapes from black paper to layer the silhouette image. It is a fascinating and mesmerising way to make art.
You will get to make an artwork that is a stand alone piece - but the real magic happens when the pieces are lined up as a collection along a wall as one big collaborative artwork!
Artworks will be photographed at the end of class, and participants get to take their originals home - and prints of each work will be on display in the Wild Learning community creative space!
The lined up pieces will give the viewer the experience of walking along a large window and peeking into an ethereal black and white world!
Please bring an A4 picture or photo frame so you can take home your framed artwork at the end of class.
