Join Suzanne Schroder for a 2.5 hour Wild Learning sewing class and learn to make a flattering A-line skirt that fits your body perfectly.. in one just one lesson!!
You will need to bring a piece of fabric to sew your skirt from, Suzanne suggests taking up the recycled material challenge and picking up a doona cover or sheet with an interesting print or colour, a curtain or table cloth from an op-shop to cut up and use. You can also bring a piece of new fabric
Bring along your sewing machine (or if you don't have one, send us a message and we may be able to lend you a machine for your first lesson) and Suzanne will teach you how to get great results from your machine, and how to construct your piece.. with LOADS of opportunity to get creative with fabric patterns and design features!

If you don't have a sewing machine, send us a message and we may be able to lend you a machine for your first lesson
As well as your machine, you will need a basic kit for each class, including:
- Your sewing machine with bobbin
- Neutral colour thread
- Fabric scissors + Pins + Tape measure
- Hand sewing needles
- Note book
What is it: Classes to learn how to sew with a sewing machine
Taught by: Suzanne Schroder
Who is for: people over 18 years old | suitable for complete beginners and those with some sewing experience wanting to explore proper techniques and build skills
Day and time: Friday at 12 midday - 2:30. This is a two hour and half hour class, with extra time to pack up at the end of class

You can attend this class on a drop in basis - $50 per class or $45 concession
or you can purchase a flexible four class pass - $180 or $170 concession
Need to bring: your sewing machine, (with power chord + foot pedal) plus the sewing kit items in the course description
What is provided: Each lesson includes a sewing lesson and instructions and materials to work on a small sewing project
Suzanne is a dressmaker and mixed media artists. She has been sewing for 40 years and has studied Fashion and Fine Art. Her most recent venture is suzzimaggs.com, a website for selling her upcycled bags and other items and also her platform for blogging. She is happiest when she is creating things.
