About the Event

Learn to make a crochet classic - the granny square! - This simple crochet for beginners class will get you started with all the skills you need to make your own gorgeous rugs and blankets!

Granny square blankets are the perfect mindful craft - it's easy to do, and once you get the hang of it you will find it addictive! The repetitive stitching action is a little like rocking a baby to sleep or the trance that runners get into, it's deeply soothing to the mind so anytime you need a little bit of calm you can pick up your hook & yarn.... and before you know it you'll have enough squares for a blanket!

Included in this two hour class is a crochet hook to keep, and you can help yourself to our yarn stash during class to get your project started.

This class is suitable for people with absolutely no crochet skills and those who have tried before but found it too tricky...!

In two hours you will learn all the basics and have made your very first square.

Includes a tea and coffee served in the good china, plus cupcakes for morning tea (because what could be better than crochet, coffee and cupcakes?!)
