About the Event
Enjoy a fascinating evening learning how to combine the benefits of relaxation and meditation - with the playful expressiveness of art making!
This class will teach you three fun and colourful different ways to use mindful art exercises to help reduce stress, worry and the feeling of being overwhelmed.
During the class you will get to try:
- Quick draw- short, simple exercises you can use anytime you need a quick break to sooth the mind or to get energised
- Scribble with music and create a sheet of wild abstract art!
- Collage mandalas & patterns
This workshop is suitable for all ages and all abilities - no art making skills or experience required!
The relaxation and meditation techniques in this workshops are not religious and ideal for people who have tried meditation in the past and found it difficult.
You are welcome to bring a smartphone with a sound recording feature if you would like to record the guided meditations to try again at home!
