About the Event

Create a beautiful collage artwork using layers of torn up paper!

During this workshop you will learn to build an image that feels painterly and lush, without needing any painting skills at all!

  • First you will sketch out your composition
  • Then we will plan your colour story and begin creating the background layer with collage
  • Add all the lovely finishing touches and beautiful layers to make your piece magical!

Please note you will need:

- either a paper kit from Wild Learning OR some magazines to tear up

- a pair of scissors, good quality glue (a stick or liquid , either will work)

- a pencil

The class will be LIVE & ONLINE so you can watch from home via zoom on a computer or phone screen. Because the class is live you can ask questions and get help and interact with other students so it almost feels like being around the big craft table at Wild Learning.

We believe all craft is best done with a good cup of tea (or maybe a glass of bubbles) and a treat. So prepare for class by setting up a space to watch the video, open your material kit and get your craft snacks ready!

The zoom meeting will open ten minutes before class begins. If you are joining for the first time come in early to say hello and see how it all works.

The video class is recorded so you can rewatch it later if you need to refresh your memory :)

*** if you have requested postage on your material pack, please allow several days for delivery as post is currently taking extra time to arrive.

Class cost:

$18 for a byo materials ticket

  • Video Lesson BYO materials
